Dear Families,
Tis the month of DecemberAnd for this we are sure
For the children’s excitement
There’s really no cure.
The children who once
Sat nice in their seats
Can hardly stand still
On their two little feet.
The candy, the cookies,
The toys on TV
Drum up their energy
And that you will see.
We will keep them as busy
As we possibly can.
As they wait excitedly
For that
jolly old man.
That magical time of the year is quickly approaching and you will see the excitement on the children’s faces. December is one of our shorter months, but it is always packed full of activities and excitement. Please post the highlight page so your child will not miss out on any of our special events.
I spoke with Christmas City and they will try to have the school pictures here by December15th. At that time you will receive everything except the class composites picture that will come at a later date. This will allow children who were absent on picture day a chance to have their pictures taken at the studio to be included in the class composite.
Pastor Reist will present a Christmas show in the church for all of our children on December 5th at 10:45 and 1:00 and on December 6th at 10:45. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Don’t forget our extended care programs if you need to get some extra shopping, wrapping or baking done. The cost is $5.00 an hour, please sign your child up in the extended care book in the hallway and inform your child’s classroom teacher what day or days your child will be using our extended care.
We will end the month of December with our Christmas parties on December 21stand 22nd. Each class will provide a sign- up sheet for party refreshments and paper products. Santa will be at our parties and the children will sing songs, so we ask that you please be prompt and be sure to bring your camera or cell phone.
May you make many wonderful holiday memories with your family and friends and enjoy all the blessing of the New Year.
