Even though we are only beginning the month of November the children have skipped a month and are already focused on Christmas. We will work extra hard to keep their attention on school for the next two months. With Christmas in mind we would like to remind you of our extra care programs in case you are in need of an extra hour for some holiday shopping. The sign up book for early care, lunch care and extended care is in the middle of the hallway near the gross motor room. If your child is staying for lunch care please pack a lunch and drink, we have a refrigerator and microwave in our lunch room. Christmas City Photographers will be here on November 3/4. If you decide not to purchase a packet the photographers will still take a picture of your child for our classroom composites. Individual pictures will be delivered before Christmas and composites are normally delivered sometime in January. Happy Thanksgiving, Mrs. Creazzo
School Cancellations and Delays
Because of weather conditions, it is sometimes necessary to cancel or delay the start of school. When these conditions exist please watch channel 69. We will be listed as Good Shepherd Christian Nursery School Easton. It will be the smaller listings that you will see scrolling at the bottom of the screen. You can also listen to the following radio stations; WEST 1400, WLEV 100.7 or CAT Country 96.1. You may also check our web site. Mrs. Jodi will post delays and cancellations as soon as they become available to her. Please do not contact her directly and check the above options. You may also have the alert from channel 69 cancellations sent to your phone when our school is cancelled or delayed.
Our decisions for closings or delays are normally based on the Wilson High School District. We usually follow the same schedule as Wilson schools. There may be times when we will stay open or close school which may be different from Wilson. Please check the above information to make sure we are closed or on a delayed schedule. Modified Schedule: When there is a two hour delay our schedule will be as follows: AM Classes will be held from 11:00 am-12:30 pm PM Classes will be held from 1:30 pm- 3:00 pm
