Dear Pre-K Parents,
Before you know it, it seems we will be saying good bye to all our
little graduates. We are very happy for
them, but will miss them very much.
Our last month together will be filled with fun though. We will soon be transforming our classroom
and hallways into an under-the-sea adventure. We will be making lots of sea creatures like crabs, sea horses, turtles
and even jellyfishes… yikes!
We still have work to do to as we finish our ABC Books with the letters
Xx & Yy. These books will be sent
home soon to be cherished for years to come we’re sure.
On Monday, May 7th, our Pre-K classes will be visiting
the Wilson Elementary School. We will
walk over with the morning class at 9:30am and our afternoon class will go at
1:30. We will only be there about 45
minutes but it will be fun for the children to see a real kindergarten class.
It’s hard to believe but our little ones will be graduating on May 28th. Both AM & PM children will come to school
from 9:00am to 11:30am to practice their graduation. Then they are due back (in their gowns and
sashes) at 6:15pm in our Pre-K classroom. Our graduation program will then start at 6:30pm. During our program you will also get to see
some of Mrs. B’s “year in review” slideshow. But… since she takes hundreds and hundreds of pictures all year long,
you will have to purchase the DVD to see them all. More information on purchasing this keepsake
will follow soon. After graduation, don’t
forget to join us all downstairs in our Fellowship Hall for a small celebration
with cake and juice for everyone. The
children’s real’ diplomas and a
special goodie bag will be waiting for them down there as well.
We would like to wish everyone a happy and safe summer and we will be
thinking of you all in September as you begin your next journey forward.
God
Bless you all,
Miss Kay
